Planning Prescriptions for Hazard Mitigation & Historic Preservation
RxP Lab faculty and students work with community, civic and city partners to assess and address chronic + acute hazards to the cultural heritage.
Grounded in planning theory, public history and preservation practice, our research projects yield policy prescriptions for historic places in disrepair, danger and disinvestment, especially places of significance to Black, Indigenous, and other People of Color (BIPOC).
